How to make cheese foam at home

A quick layer of homemade cheese foam is the easiest way to turn a basic iced tea into a legit cafe-quality drink. Here is the recipe to follow:

Ingredients (1–2 Servings)

  • 20g Cream Cheese
  • 20g Condensed Milk
  • 1/8 tsp Sea Salt
  • 50ml Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 25ml Whole Milk
  • Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pre-Mix by Hand: Add all ingredients to your cup. Keep the frother turned off and use the whisk head like a hand-wand to mash and mix the cold cream cheese into the liquids until smooth.
  2. Froth for 20 Seconds: Submerge your handheld frother to the bottom and run for 10 seconds. Lift near the surface for another 5–10 seconds to incorporate air. Stop as soon as it looks like thick melted ice cream or volume has doubled.

How to Serve

  • Pour It: Spoon gently over iced, low-sugar tea (like Jinxuan Oolong). It will float effortlessly.
  • Ditch the Straw: Sip at a 45-degree angle to get the salty foam first, followed by the crisp tea.
